Colorado boasts beautiful weather and four distinct seasons. It is the perfect home for anyone wanting an abundance of outdoor recreation, mountain views, paired a rapidly developing modern culture. There is still strong desire for people to live and relocate here. This makes the best time to buy in Colorado come down to finding the best situation for you and your needs while being in a position to take advantage of it when the time comes. The sooner you can become a homeowner, the better, for it's one of the best ways for people to build their wealth.

CO Property Valuations

Under Colorado law, county assessor offices throughout the state conduct a complete revaluation of all properties in their county every two years. This is completed every odd-numbered year. This year’s Notice of Valuations (NOV) for all taxable real properties was mailed on May 1. Colorado residential property values increased considerably during the most recent reappraisal period, which ended on June 30, 2022. These new valuations will be used for tax years 2023 and 2024 (payable in 2024 and 2025, respectively). Have you received your valuation? Does the value accurately reflect your home? If you feel that your valuation is incorrect after reviewing sales and characteristics for your property, you may appeal your property valuation between May 1 and June 8. If you own your home, I highly recommend staying informed on this!

Real Estate is an ever changing and evolving industry. Many only consider buying and selling as the primary focuses of the field. This misconception leads most to overlook the severity and responsibilities of homeownership. There are many integral parts to the business, I believe it is important for everyone to have a realtor they trust and can speak with frequently to ensure that whenever it comes to one of their greatest assets: their home - they will always be best prepared for whatever may come their way.
